Nothing to Something

"People surprise you. You think they gone be a nothing and they turn out to be a something" --Curtis Jackson's Grandfather I was watching the "Behind the Music" of Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and I caught the above quote from 50 Cents grandfather and I gotta' say that, I like it! You must go through levels of pain in order to appreciate the joy. If you are not blessed with situations to go through and everything comes to you quite easily, how would you know to respect the struggle? Or be grateful for the struggle because it should have made you a better person (humble, responsible and quietly powerful) , furthermore, why would anyone see you as GREAT? When you pick up a pen or a pencil and truly love...

I love music

What can I say other than I love music and I believe it's one of the best creations ever. I listen to music everyday, always have. Music stimulates me, excites me, entices me, invites me to enjoy every feeling my human body is allowed to feel. Music also opens up gateways for me to enter and play with my thoughts and indulge in my imagination. Music makes me appreciate life in a way that some don't. I can appreciate, respect and cherish what others may dismiss, such as vulnerability, egoism, arrogance, masculinity, femininity, sorrow, joy, pain, confusion etc..., music is poetry and poetry is life. Every piece of music you've ever heard is just the soundtrack to everyone's life regardless of any race, color or creed. It's the same messages all around the world just conveyed for everyone to understand in their own language, culture and themes. So this blog is to show appreciation to the beautiful musicians who have consistently, creatively made the soundtracks ...
